Troop 7 was sponsored by the Cumberland Rotary Club. Once a year we would give a troop report to the Rotary Club at their meeting in the YMCA Building. We got out of school and they served to us a wonderful meal. It was the first time for many of us to be around so many prominent business men. They were really nice to us. I was selected once to give the speech by a scout. It was quite something.
